Family Fun at Dodger Stadium

LIFEsocal held its second major family event – go2bat4LIFE – at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, November 18, 2012. The high-energy celebration centered around a positive message, unity among all and fun for all ages.

Once again, thousands of people came to hear from across Southern California and the country to show their support for LIFE. Los Angeles Archbishop Jose Gomez led a walk around Dodger Stadium before the crowds heard from Pro-LIFE speakers Walter Hoye II, Lila Rose, Eduardo Verástegui, Marion Jones, and Mauricio Kuri.

The event took place on the field and featured baseball-themed games and activities, plus Dodger Dogs, more than a dozen food trucks and rocking out to Lincoln Brewster and Christafari!

Thousands of High School and College Students Gather at Dodger Stadium for LIFE

As any baseball fan would expect, the grass in Dodger Stadium was neatly manicured and field was ready to go as thousands of students and families came together to go to bat for LIFE in Southern California last Sunday. Go2bat4LIFE, presented by LIFEsocal, was an unprecedented and historic event in Los Angeles and among pro-life support efforts throughout the country. The large crowd was comprised of people from all different races and religions; those in attendance walked around the stadium in solidarity for the cause of the unborn and entered the field through the gates in centerfield. Students and families coming from schools throughout Southern California enjoyed the opportunity to come together and focus on the issue as well as celebrate their common passion to respect human life and protect the rights of the pre-born.
